Safe bulk capacity workflow
Excel and CSV warehouse capacity calculations
Upload an XLSX or UTF-8 CSV file, run a dry validation pass, and calculate only rows that map to the same Warehouse Capacity engine used by the interactive calculator. Invalid rows are never treated as zero.
Recommended workbook sheets
Use RackRuns for rack definitions and BlockZones for floor-stack definitions. Headers identify fields rather than relying on column position. Saved aliases can map customer or WMS exports to the canonical fields.
Security and error reporting
Mapped calculation cells containing formulas are rejected. File type, MIME, size, worksheet, row, column, and cell-length limits are checked before calculation. The downloadable error report identifies each invalid source row and suggested correction.
Privacy
Raw upload files are processed from the WordPress temporary upload and are not copied into a permanent public directory. Import job metadata expires after one day.
