40ft SeaPC+ Palletwide Loading Guide

40ft Palletwide Container Loading Calculator

Plan the catalogued 40PWHC SeaPC+ profile rather than assuming every 40ft palletwide container has the same dimensions. Enter complete loaded-pallet heights and gross weights.

Test the quantity you enter and review placed and unplaced cargo. This is a planning estimate, not a maximum-capacity guarantee or transport approval.

Container Loading Calculator

Use this guide for the 40ft SeaPC+ high cube palletwide variant represented by CBM3 40PWHC. Its inside envelope is 1205.7 x 242.2 x 269.4 cm, about 78.670 m3. A supplier reference of 30 Euro pallets is not an automatic fit result for every 40ft palletwide or every wrapped load.

AI-generated explanatory illustration for the 40PWHC planning task, not to scale. Empty pallets are outside the container; this is not a 40PWHC specification drawing, a loaded-pallet count or a CBM3 result.

Open the 40PWHC loading planner. Start with a new job and confirm the selected equipment. This is an initial selection, not an automatic calculation; a saved job or your own equipment choice takes priority.

Planning profile and an equipment supplier example

Seaco publishes a payload range for this SeaPC+ variant. CBM3 uses 29,720 kg, the lower endpoint. Confirm the assigned unit instead of treating a range or a different 40ft model as a higher permitted payload.

The supplier column refers only to the Seaco 40ft SeaPC+ High Cube Palletwide specification. Seaco supplies and leases containers; this is a fleet specification, not a manufacturing certificate. Confirm the equipment actually supplied. Interior volume is not a cargo-fit result; a listed door size is not a simulated loading path.

A footprint result is not a handling allowance

Fifteen paired rows of 120 x 80 cm footprints occupy 1,200 cm by 240 cm. The profile leaves only 5.7 cm along the length and 2.2 cm across the width. These are residual envelope dimensions, not verified forklift, wrapping or securing clearances. A 30-unit geometric result does not guarantee a damage-free loading operation.

Reproduce two entered-order examples

Use metric units with palletization off. Keep rotation at Horizontal Only and leave global rules off. Normal loading priority, no delivery stop, no fragile marking and no additional maximum stack-weight limit are used. These are synthetic examples, not measured customer shipments.

Example B treats each already assembled unit as one box-shaped outer envelope. Its 120 cm height and 400 kg mass already include its base and contents. Do not add pallet height or tare again. This test is manual outer-envelope entry, not evidence of the separate pallet-transfer workflow. Full 3D Rotation and stacking are not permitted for these units.

Engine verification used the installed 11.63.52 Worker in Node, with independent quantity, orientation, boundary, overlap, support and payload checks. It is not a real-browser demonstration, a physical-loading test or a proof of maximum capacity. A different load, restriction or unit can produce a different result.

Review before organizing the physical load

  1. Measure the complete outer packages, including overhang and wrapping, and confirm the real equipment.
  2. Check the entered, placed and unplaced quantities for every container. Review the actual order and its handling permissions, not a reference pallet count.
  3. Assess access, load distribution, stacking suitability and securing with the responsible loading team. The known unit mass in the example excludes the container and any unentered materials; it is not VGM.

The IMO/ILO/UNECE CTU Code is voluntary global packing guidance. A geometric result is not transport approval. Securing choices and applicable requirements need a separate assessment.

Choose the next planning step

Use the step-by-step planning guide to review a job. For the related equipment, see the 40ft dry container loading guide. Return to the loading-space guide directory for other equipment families.

Compare Pallet Footprint, Height and Shipment Mass

The reference footprint is 800 x 1200 mm, but the simulation needs each complete load’s actual outer size. Wrapping or goods can extend beyond the base. Keep loaded pallets upright with horizontal turning only, enter the base height and tare once, and do not enable stacking or palletization unless appropriate for that complete unit.

For the example’s 30 units, 80 x 120 x 120 x 30 / 1,000,000 = 34.560 m3 and 30 x 400 = 12,000 kg. Compare this known cargo mass with the profile’s cargo limit, not the container’s maximum gross mass. The simulation does not automatically add unknown securing materials, prove a forklift route or approve axle/route limits.

40ft SeaPC+ Palletwide Questions

Is 40PWHC the same as a standard 40ft high cube?

No. Do not borrow the palletwide width or reference count for a standard-width container. Select the exact catalogue code and compare the assigned equipment’s measurements, not just its nominal length.

How are 30 Euro-pallet positions arranged in the simple pattern?

Fifteen paired rows of 120 x 80 cm footprints use 1,200 x 240 cm. The resulting small residual strips are not verified handling or securing clearances. The recorded 30-unit plan tests a specified geometric order; it does not authorize a physically damage-free loading procedure.

Can I use the higher payload figure in the supplier range?

The software uses 29,720 kg, the lower listed endpoint. Confirm the assigned container’s plate, actual tare and permitted cargo mass before loading. Do not raise a software limit by treating another unit’s specification as permission.

Will a 269 cm-tall loaded pallet fit?

Ceiling height alone is insufficient. Compare the complete upright envelope with the listed 258.5 cm doorway and the real handling operation. Changing the rotation permission to Full 3D is not an acceptable substitute for keeping a loaded pallet upright.

How do I test mixed pallets or fewer than 30 units?

Enter the quantities actually being shipped in separate rows for differing dimensions or rules. Calculate, then check SKU-level placed and unplaced units for each container. The planner tests your order rather than inventing more pallets to fill unused space.

References and Check Dates

Named equipment reference: Seaco, 40ft SeaPC+ High Cube Palletwide, metric specification and pallet table rechecked 7 October 2026. This is not the separate cellular 40ft model. CBM3 11.63.55 compatibility was checked 7 October; recorded engine examples retain their original 6 October 11.63.52 date. IMO/ILO/UNECE CTU Code is named guidance, not simulation certification.

Software compatibility note, 8 October 2026 (Europe/Istanbul): The planning profiles and recorded example inputs were checked against the source-reviewed CBM3 11.63.56 candidate. The earlier example execution dates remain unchanged; this compatibility review is not a new optimization run or physical-loading test. Fleet-provider and carrier references are not manufacturer approval. Confirm the actual unit dimensions, payload and securing requirements.

How to inspect and hand over a loading plan

Use the selected plan and the complete shipment data. Recheck the result after changing cargo, equipment or handling rules.

See every cargo unit in context

Search the cargo inventory, focus on an item and switch between realistic, operational, top and side views. Inspect pallet layers and height sections.

The inventory separates requested units, units in the selected container, units in other containers and unplaced units. Select a row to find its cargo in the scene; playback and height sections show only part of the complete plan.

Use pallet details to inspect full, partial and mixed pallets. A height section filters the view; it does not remove cargo from the plan. Vehicle bodies and wheels provide visual context.

Prepare clearer warehouse instructions

Use product colors and short codes, named groups and delivery stops. Choose a summary or warehouse PDF for the selected plan.

Assign product colors and short codes to connect the cargo table, 3D view and reports. Group and stop names improve instructions; apply the appropriate loading rules when a sequence must be enforced.

Compare verified alternatives and review any manual moves. A manual reallocation affects the current preview and PDF; saved or shared inputs recalculate the automatic arrangement when reopened. Export again after changes.

Read the estimated center of gravity

Review longitudinal, lateral and height coordinates from known cargo and pallet masses. Check the displayed origin and units before comparing plans.

The estimate assumes each item's mass is centered and excludes vehicle tare. Missing or stale additional-material records can leave the complete-load assessment unavailable; explicitly declare none when no extra materials are present.

Coordinates use the load-space frame, not road height. For Step Deck, X starts at the raised front end and Y at the lower-deck datum; axle-form distances run from the rear toward the cab.

Distinguish the loading unit from its carrying vehicle

This loading unit alone does not define an axle configuration.

Inspect cargo and pallet weight distribution in this loading space. A container, swap body or air-cargo unit does not identify the road chassis, rail wagon or aircraft carrying it.

Axle estimates are available after selecting a supported complete road or rail vehicle. Enter its actual mounting positions, full empty reactions and applicable limits; do not reuse a trailer reference as container or aircraft approval.
