Use these guides to move from a shipment question to a repeatable planning check. Each guide keeps the equipment profile, calculation example and important limits together, so the calculator result is easier to interpret before a booking or load plan is finalized.
Start with the loading space
Loading-space guides focus on one selectable CBM3 profile at a time. They are not carrier booking specifications and they do not replace a physical inspection, cargo-securement plan or transport-provider confirmation.
Browse loading-space guides to open the current series, or open the CBM3 calculator when you need to test the dimensions, quantity and weight of your own cargo.
Find the right guide for your freight-planning task
Start with the question you need to answer. Cubic volume, a physical loading arrangement and cargo-to-pallet packing are different tasks; choose the relevant tool before entering dimensions and quantities.
- Calculate shipment volume in the CBM volume calculator. A volume total alone does not prove that freight fits through a door or into a container.
- Test an entered carton or loaded-pallet order in the 3D cargo loading planner. Use actual outer dimensions, quantities, weights and permitted rotation and stacking; check placed and unplaced cargo after the calculation.
- Pack loose cartons onto a pallet with the pallet calculator. For an already loaded pallet in the 3D planner, include its base height and tare once and keep it upright.
- Follow the step-by-step load-planning guide for data preparation and result review, or compare equipment assumptions in the 20ft versus 40ft container guide.
- Choose an identified equipment profile from the loading-space guide directory. Compare the reference dimensions and limits with the unit actually booked.
The planner tests your entered order under its constraints; it does not guarantee a mathematical optimum, maximum pallet count or minimum number of containers. A geometric result is not confirmation of access, cargo restraint, legal transport mass or refrigeration performance.
