Refund Policy

# Refund Policy

**Last updated: 24 July 2026**

This Refund Policy explains the current no-charge status of CBM3 and how questions about historical CBM3 transactions are handled.

## 1. Current Free Service

At the date shown above, CBM3’s normal end-user functionality is provided free of charge. No subscription, trial payment or purchase is required to perform calculations or create 3D loading plans.

Because the current free Service does not charge you for access, there is no purchase price to refund for current use.

Creating a free account does not start a paid subscription. A current free user will not be charged merely for continuing to use CBM3.

## 2. No Active Paid Membership Sale

CBM3 does not currently offer an active paid membership through the normal free-access experience. The public checkout or pricing area may therefore show a zero-price free-access message rather than a payment form.

The move to free access does not automatically create a retroactive refund right for a historical billing period that was validly purchased and supplied. Mandatory consumer rights and the terms that applied at the time of the historical transaction remain unaffected.

## 3. Historical Purchases

This policy remains available for users who previously purchased a CBM3 product or subscription.

A historical transaction is governed by:

– the checkout and product terms shown when the transaction was completed;
– the refund and buyer terms of the payment provider or Merchant of Record;
– any cancellation or refund already agreed; and
– applicable mandatory consumer law.

Historical purchase, invoice, subscription and refund records may be retained for support, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute and legal purposes even though current access is free.

## 4. Paddle Transactions

Where a historical purchase was processed by Paddle, Paddle acted as the authorized reseller or Merchant of Record. Paddle may be responsible for the receipt, invoice, tax, payment method, cancellation, chargeback and refund process.

For the fastest review, use the order-support or manage-purchase link in the Paddle receipt, or visit **https://paddle.net/**. You may also contact CBM3 at admin@cbm3.net for help identifying the relevant transaction.

Any Paddle refund is subject to the Paddle terms and refund policy applicable to the transaction, together with non-waivable rights under applicable law.

## 5. Duplicate, Incorrect or Unauthorized Charges

If you believe a historical transaction involved a duplicate charge, billing error, unauthorized payment or incorrect amount, contact Paddle through the receipt or paddle.net and notify CBM3 at admin@cbm3.net.

Provide only the information reasonably necessary to identify the transaction. Do not email a full payment-card number, card security code or account password.

CBM3 and the Merchant of Record may request the transaction date, purchase email, order or invoice identifier, charged amount and a description of the issue. A refund, reversal or other correction will be handled through the original payment provider where possible.

## 6. Legacy Subscription Status

Free-access mode is designed so that an old subscription, trial, cancellation, payment failure, expiry or refund status does not block normal CBM3 features.

If a historical Paddle receipt or account still appears to show a recurring subscription, use its manage-subscription link or contact Paddle to confirm cancellation and prevent any unintended future renewal. Also notify CBM3 so the legacy record can be reviewed.

## 7. Refund Requests

For a historical transaction, include:

– the email address used for the purchase;
– the Paddle order, transaction or invoice reference, if available;
– the transaction date and amount; and
– a concise explanation of the request.

Send the request to **admin@cbm3.net** and, for Paddle transactions, also use the support path supplied by Paddle.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. Eligibility depends on the transaction terms, usage, technical circumstances, timing and mandatory law. Nothing in this policy removes a right that cannot legally be waived.

## 8. Approved Refunds

An approved refund will normally be issued by the Merchant of Record or payment provider to the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on the provider, bank, card issuer and payment network.

CBM3 will not ask you to pay an advance fee to receive a legitimate refund.

## 9. Future Paid Products

CBM3 may introduce a separate paid product or service in the future. A current free account will not be automatically converted into a paid subscription.

Before any future purchase, CBM3 or the Merchant of Record will show the price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation method and applicable refund or withdrawal terms. This Refund Policy will be updated if the future offering requires different rules.

## 10. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits a non-waivable right or remedy under applicable consumer law. Where mandatory law or the Merchant of Record’s applicable buyer terms provide a greater right, that right prevails.

## 11. Changes to This Policy

CBM3 may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in the Service, payment arrangements or law. The current version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. The rules applicable when a historical transaction was made continue to govern that transaction to the extent required by law or the Merchant of Record’s terms.
