Mega Trailer Loading Calculator
Test cartons or loaded pallets in the mega-trailer profile. Check the supplied trailer height and opening rather than assuming the nominal 3m profile is available everywhere.
Test the quantity you enter and review placed and unplaced cargo. This is a planning estimate, not a maximum-capacity guarantee or transport approval.
Test a mega trailer loading order against the CBM3 MEGA_TRAILER reference of 1360 x 245 x 300 cm and a configured 24,000 kg cargo ceiling. The 3m planning height is not a promise that every booked mega trailer has that clearance. This review-required reference and the separate ECS equipment example must not be combined into an imaginary best-case vehicle.

Open the MEGA_TRAILER loading planner. For a new job, confirm the equipment before entering cargo. This link supplies an initial selection, not an automatic calculation. A saved job or your own selection takes priority.
Current planning profile
| Profile field | Configured value |
|---|---|
| Planning length x width x height (cm) | 1,360 x 245 x 300 |
| Default rear-door width x height (cm) | Not supplied |
| Configured cargo ceiling (kg) | 24,000 |
| Rectangular planning volume (m3) | 99.960 |
| Profile review status | Reference only; review required |
The software has no default door opening or equipment tare for this reference. The 300 cm modeled height and 24,000 kg cargo ceiling are not silently replaced by the separate operator values. Check the booked unit rather than selecting whichever value makes the cargo fit.
Compare the source without replacing the preset
| Source field | Published value or exact conversion |
|---|---|
| Interior length x width x height | 1362 x 248 x 293 cm |
| Door width x height | 247 x 293 cm |
| Tare | 6,800 kg |
| Listed payload | 28,000 kg; country-specific legal limits apply |
Source: ECS equipment specifications, Mega Trailer section. The Mega Trailer section is distinct from the Mega Container and Super Mega Trailer sections. This operator example differs from the software reference. ECS also warns that legal maximum payload differs by country; its listed payload is not a universal permission for a road combination.
Reproduce two entered-order examples
Use metric units and switch palletization off. Keep Horizontal Only rotation, Fragile off, no added stack-weight limit, Normal priority, no delivery stop and default global/equipment constraints. Set the per-example stacking and upright controls as shown. Use complete outer dimensions and cargo weight; include a cargo-side pallet or base once when present.
| Example | Width x length x height cm | Units | kg per unit | Input m3 | Stackable | This Side Up |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: cartons | 40 x 60 x 80 | 24 | 20 | 4.608 | Yes | No |
| B: upright clearance | 100 x 120 x 295 | 1 | 1000 | 3.540 | No | Yes |
| Example | Method | Entered | Placed | Unplaced | Allocated units | Placed m3 | Placed kg | Payload check |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | Max Volume | 24 | 24 | 0 | 1 | 4.608 | 480 | Within configured ceiling |
| A | Best Balance | 24 | 24 | 0 | 1 | 4.608 | 480 | Within configured ceiling |
| B | Max Volume | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 3.540 | 1,000 | Within configured ceiling |
| B | Best Balance | 1 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 3.540 | 1,000 | Within configured ceiling |
The 295 cm upright item is placed within the 300 cm software profile. It exceeds the 293 cm interior and door height in the separate ECS example. This is a deliberate illustration of profile fit not being proof of fit in a real booked trailer. Input volume includes cargo that remains unplaced. If no container is allocated, that does not mean no equipment is needed; the method found no valid placement for the entered item.
Both methods ran on 6 October 2026 through the installed 11.63.52 Worker in Node using current default-equipment helpers. Independent checks cover item accounting, rotation, bounds, collision and support. Cargo weight is compared with a configured ceiling only when that ceiling exists. These results are not browser or physical-loading acceptance.
Does the Mega profile automatically allow an extra stacking tier?
No. Total packed height, package strength, permitted stacking and the actual entry opening still matter. The reference profile does not validate a liftable roof, loading movement or three-tier unit-load strength. Keep the entered orientation and stacking permissions tied to the real cargo.
From a geometric result to an operational plan
Review placed and unplaced counts before using the layout. A known cargo mass can support an estimated center of gravity even when vehicle payload is unknown; those are different checks. Missing payload or access data remains unresolved, not unlimited capacity or confirmed clearance.
Keep the actual orientation and stacking permissions. An extra search budget does not guarantee the optimum or minimum equipment count. The planner does not replace equipment, restraint or route assessment by the responsible operator. Account access and export availability follow the current tool controls; unlimited anonymous use is not promised.

Check high-volume freight before choosing a mega trailer
- Obtain the booked trailer’s usable internal height and access openings. Compare those with the reference rather than relying on the mega label.
- Enter every SKU’s packed outer dimensions, quantity and weight. Include pallet height and tare once for loaded units, preserve upright transport and allow stacking only where permitted.
- Test the specified order and inspect placed and unplaced counts. Do not infer another stacking tier from the nominal 300 cm software height.
- Confirm the actual vehicle, access procedure, permitted mass and restraint requirements. A layout within the configured cargo ceiling is not a legal or operational approval.
Separate a 3m profile from the booked trailer
The ECS Mega Trailer section reports 293 cm interior and door height. That differs from the CBM3 300 cm reference. The 295 cm upright test deliberately fits the software model while exceeding the separate operator example. Do not borrow a Super Mega or Mega Container value to erase that mismatch; those are different equipment sections.
The reference rectangular volume is 99.960 m3. Neither a volume total nor a mega designation gives a guaranteed pallet count or double-deck capacity. Pallet bases, product strength, available height and real access constrain an entered-order plan. The software default has no verified rear-door opening or tare for this reference.
Profile, complete default-input composition and weight-helper checks were completed for 11.63.55 on 7 October 2026. The table retains the 11.63.52 solver records dated 6 October; the solver was not rerun for this editorial update. The 24-carton order and 295 cm upright test are synthetic examples, not maximum-capacity or physical-loading demonstrations. Cargo totals are not VGM or a verified combination gross mass.
Mega trailer planning questions
Does every mega trailer have 3m internal height?
No. The software reference is 300 cm, while the cited ECS Mega Trailer example is 293 cm. Confirm the booked equipment and usable clearance before treating a tall item as feasible.
Why does the 295 cm item fit in the planner?
It remains upright and is lower than the software model’s 300 cm height. It is taller than the separate ECS interior and door values. This result demonstrates model fit, not proof of fit in that operator’s unit.
Can a mega trailer carry an extra pallet tier?
Only if the actual loaded heights, cargo strength, stacking permission and loading access permit it. The profile does not validate a lifting roof, double-deck structure or the strength of a multi-tier unit load.
Should I replace the 24,000 kg ceiling with the ECS payload?
Not automatically. The operator example is a separate configuration and includes a warning about country-specific legal limits. Verify the booked combination instead of choosing whichever rating makes the order pass.
Is a high volume-utilization result the final loading instruction?
No. Resolve unplaced cargo, access, actual vehicle dimensions, carrying limits and restraint. Estimated center of gravity and a reference cargo ceiling do not certify the journey.
Software compatibility note, 8 October 2026 (Europe/Istanbul): The planning profiles and recorded example inputs were checked against the source-reviewed CBM3 11.63.56 candidate. The earlier example execution dates remain unchanged; this compatibility review is not a new optimization run or physical-loading test. Fleet-provider and carrier references are not manufacturer approval. Confirm the actual unit dimensions, payload and securing requirements.
How to inspect and hand over a loading plan
Use the selected plan and the complete shipment data. Recheck the result after changing cargo, equipment or handling rules.
The reference configuration for this guide is a 4x2 tractor and three-axle mega semitrailer. Match it to the actual vehicle before comparing axle loads. Other axle counts and lift-axle operation require a different model.
See every cargo unit in context
Search the cargo inventory, focus on an item and switch between realistic, operational, top and side views. Inspect pallet layers and height sections.
The inventory separates requested units, units in the selected container, units in other containers and unplaced units. Select a row to find its cargo in the scene; playback and height sections show only part of the complete plan.
Use pallet details to inspect full, partial and mixed pallets. A height section filters the view; it does not remove cargo from the plan. Vehicle bodies and wheels provide visual context.
Prepare clearer warehouse instructions
Use product colors and short codes, named groups and delivery stops. Choose a summary or warehouse PDF for the selected plan.
Assign product colors and short codes to connect the cargo table, 3D view and reports. Group and stop names improve instructions; apply the appropriate loading rules when a sequence must be enforced.
Compare verified alternatives and review any manual moves. A manual reallocation affects the current preview and PDF; saved or shared inputs recalculate the automatic arrangement when reopened. Export again after changes.
Read the estimated center of gravity
Review longitudinal, lateral and height coordinates from known cargo and pallet masses. Check the displayed origin and units before comparing plans.
The estimate assumes each item's mass is centered and excludes vehicle tare. Missing or stale additional-material records can leave the complete-load assessment unavailable; explicitly declare none when no extra materials are present.
Coordinates use the load-space frame, not road height. For Step Deck, X starts at the raised front end and Y at the lower-deck datum; axle-form distances run from the rear toward the cab.
Inspect editable axle-load estimates
Supported road and rail profiles show 2, 4 or 5 axle loads, entered limits and utilization. Show or hide the cards in the simulation.
Open Vehicle axle estimates, apply a matching reference profile or enter your vehicle data, review the values and acknowledge the assumptions. Complete the cargo, pallet and additional-material inventory, then calculate and enable Axle loads.
Reference positions, tare, suspension shares and comparison limits are editable assumptions. These stationary estimates do not check dynamic loads or route legality. Axle results remain in the current session and are not included in saved/shared plans or PDFs.
