# Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for purchases of CBM3 subscriptions and related digital services.

By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to this Refund Policy.

## 1. General Rule

CBM3 provides digital software access and subscription-based services.

Refunds are generally **not available once paid access has been activated or the Service has been used**, except where required by applicable law.

## 2. Eligibility for Refund

You may be eligible for a refund only if **all** of the following conditions are met:

1. you purchased a paid CBM3 subscription directly through an authorized checkout;
2. the paid subscription has **not** been activated, accessed, or used in any way after purchase; and
3. you request the refund within a reasonable period after purchase and before substantial access, activation, or use occurs.

For the purposes of this policy, a subscription is considered **used** if, after purchase, the account has accessed or benefited from paid subscription features, functionality, or entitlements, including but not limited to activation of paid access, use of 3D simulation capacity associated with the paid plan, exports, saved plans, premium tools, or any similar paid feature.

## 3. No Refund After Activation or Use

Once a paid subscription has been activated, accessed, or used, **no refund will be provided**, except where required by applicable law.

This applies even if:
– you used the subscription only once;
– you did not fully use the remaining subscription period;
– your usage was limited;
– you later decided the Service was not suitable for your needs; or
– you forgot to cancel before renewal.

## 4. Immediate Access to Digital Services

By purchasing a paid subscription, you expressly request immediate access to the digital Service.

You acknowledge that:
– paid access may begin immediately after purchase; and
– once performance of the digital Service begins, any applicable withdrawal, cancellation, or refund right may be limited or lost to the extent permitted by applicable law.

## 5. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

If you cancel:
– your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period; and
– your subscription will not renew after that period ends.

Cancellation stops future renewals only. It does **not** entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, except where required by applicable law.

## 6. Automatic Renewals

Monthly and multi-month paid plans may renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.

You are responsible for managing your subscription and canceling before renewal if you do not want to be charged again.

Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the renewed billing period has started, except where required by applicable law or in cases of duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect charges.

## 7. Failed, Duplicate, or Unauthorized Charges

We may review and, where appropriate, issue a refund in cases such as:

– duplicate charges;
– clear billing errors;
– proven unauthorized transactions; or
– technical failures that resulted in an incorrect charge.

We may request supporting information before processing such requests.

## 8. Payment Provider and Merchant of Record

Purchases may be processed by third-party payment providers. In some cases, **Paddle** may act as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.

Where Paddle processes the transaction, refunds may be issued through Paddle or the original payment method, subject to Paddle’s checkout, billing, and support processes.

## 9. How to Request a Refund

– the email address used for purchase;
– your order or invoice reference, if available;
– the date of purchase; and
– a brief explanation of your request.

We may request additional information to verify eligibility.

## 10. Processing of Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or payment network.

## 11. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Where mandatory law grants you refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or similar rights that override this policy, those rights will prevail to the extent required by law.
